Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) measures glucose levels continuously in order to monitor levels and allow the person to detect potential patterns at all times of the day, in real-time.
CGM provides glucose information from a small wire inserted under the skin. You can notice and respond to falling glucose levels before experiencing low-glucose levels and also monitor patterns whilst sleeping, unlike fingerprick tests which only provide a measurement for the point of time you take the test.

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, also known as GDM, is a type of diabetes that can occur during pregnancy. After the birth, most women will have no diabetes however some may still have high blood sugar levels.
When blood glucose levels rise above normal during pregnancy, it is diagnosed.
It typically occurs between the 24th and 28th weeks of pregnancy.

Type 1 diabetes in children is an autoimmune condition in which the body’s immune system destroy insulin producing cells. The hormone insulin is made by the pancreas and controls glucose levels in the blood. The destruction of the insulin producing cells in the pancreas results in high circulating blood glucose levels.
